Attorneys (referring attorneys like most of yours) are starting to report sporadic payments from bulk settlements. It appears that some trial counsel have reached the 95% threshold and payments are staring to be made.
I understand that many who just struck their deals are moving along at a pretty good pace.
If I had to guess I would say that the next 3 to 4 months should bring a very large number of payoffs.
We have not heard anything to change our view that the vast majority of settlements are in the $26,000 to $35,000 range.

Crusty -
Can you help me?
I was offered a settlement which I am very unhappy with and feel like I am being taken advantage of by my attorneys. They promised to file a lawsuit as I am an original opt out, and after the settlement was reached they have switched me from an A matrix to a B matrix, giving me some bonus excuse.
I am sure they got a lot more money for me than they are giving me and are keeping the difference.
I would like to switch attoneys at this point, or settle directly with the company. I have had valve surgery. Is it possible ?
Thanks for your help.

Crusty;
Have you heard whether show cause cases are going at a faster rate? Have you heard how long show cause is actually taking from being put into show cause until it is heard by the judge?
Thanks. Any info would be appreciated.

BettyBoo is a still in the original settlement and in show cause, so she is not a class opt-out waiting on a bulk settlement or a court case.
